Art Therapy
We can’t always put how we feel into exact words, and that’s normal! Art therapists combine a non-judgmental, therapeutic space with encouragement to explore the power of creativity.
When we create alongside an art therapist we primarily communicate visually to express inner emotions, experiences and feelings symbolically. This process can lead to growth in fostering self-expression, personal insight, self-compassion and healing.
Why make art outside in nature? For me, making art in nature enhances our sense of interconnectedness with the world and in turn can deepen the relationship we have with ourselves. It’s also fun to get a little rained on or feel the sensation of our feet touching the cool grass on a hot summer’s day.
